Nose: Malt forward with custard creams and fresh barley. Dark chocolate fudge is covered in pungent fumes of cask strength alcohol but little/no nose prickle showcasing good integration.
Palate: Slightly oily palate with digestive biscuits, Sherry sweetness and oak spice. Marzipan and sultanas also in the mix with soft touches of vanilla.
Finish: Medium length leaving a warm and spicy finish with chocolate nibs.
