Nose: Rich and intense with wet bonfire embers, a peppery peat smoke and iodine taking centre stage. Figs and toasted oak appear in time with a nondescript nuttiness.
Palate: The sherry takes over with fresh summer berries and hazelnut at play. Luxurious and oily, this dram coats your mouth and takes you on a journey with notes of saline in the mid palate before the peat finally reappears in a slightly drying finish full of cigarette ash and white pepper.
